Charles Brindamour is Chief Executive Officer of Intact Financial Corporation, the largest provider of property and casualty insurance in Canada and a leading provider of specialty insurance in North America. He began his career with Intact in 1992 and has held progressively senior roles, in Canada and abroad, within Intact and its former affiliates, including Senior Vice President of Personal Lines, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Brindamour was appointed as President and CEO in January, 2008.

Under Mr. Brindamour’s leadership the Company became an independent and widely-held Canadian company in 2009 and two years later engineered the acquisition of AXA Canada; the largest acquisition in the history of Canada’s property and casualty insurance industry.

Charles Brindamour is a graduate of Laval University in Actuarial Sciences and an Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society. He is a board member of Intact Financial Corporation, Hydro One Limited, the C.D. Howe Institute, Branksome Hall, the Geneva Association and the Business Council of Canada. He is also a member of the Advisory Committee of the University of Waterloo’s Climate Change Adaptation Project and serves on the advisory board of Gibraltar Growth Corporation.

Patrick Barbeau is Senior Vice President, Claims at Intact Insurance. In this role, Mr. Barbeau has overall responsibility for claims operations across the country.

Before being appointed to his current position, he was Senior Vice President of Personal Lines from December 2013 to April 2016. Prior to that, Mr. Barbeau was Vice President of Personal Lines from 2011 to 2013. In that position, he was responsible for Personal Lines rating and underwriting for the Quebec region. As part of his duties, he was involved in the AXA Canada and Jevco integration activities.

Mr. Barbeau joined ING Canada in 2000 in the Actuarial department. He was appointed Manager of the Actuarial Department at belairdirect in 2003. In 2004, he became Vice President, Underwriting at belairdirect and later Vice President, Quebec Region, at belairdirect.

In 2008, Mr. Barbeau became Vice President of Marketing and Communications at belairdirect, and was promoted to Deputy, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Operations in Direct to Consumer Distribution for Intact in 2010.

Mr. Barbeau is a graduate of the Université de Laval à Québec holding an actuarial degree. He is also a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society.

Martin Beaulieu is the Senior Vice President and Chief Risk Officer of Intact Financial Corporation. In this role, he is responsible for providing risk management leadership across North America for the organization at the strategic and business management level. Prior to this role, he was the Chief Operating Officer for the direct to consumer distribution of Intact Financial Corporation.

Mr. Beaulieu joined Intact in 1988 as an actuary and has been a member of its executive committee since 2002. During his career at Intact, he served in increasing leadership roles in actuarial, internal audit, reinsurance, pricing and underwriting, claims and government relations; in the direct and broker channel; in Canada, The Netherlands and the United States. He has also been a core member of Intact's merger and acquisition team participating in the successful acquisition and integration of a dozen companies since the early 90s.

Mr. Beaulieu has also contributed throughout his career to the Canadian insurance industry evolution and reforms by volunteering on a number of committees and associations. Most recently, he is Chair of the Insurance Bureau of Canada (IBC) Personal Lines Steering Committee in addition to being a director of La Corporation des Assureurs Directs de Dommages (CADD) and The Canadian Association of Direct Relationship Insurers (CADRI). He holds a Bachelor of actuarial science degree from Laval University and is a member of the Casualty Actuarial Society.

Martin Beaulieu , , , Senior Vice President and Chief Risk Officer

Alan Blair is Senior Vice President for Intact Insurance in Atlantic Canada.

Alan joined the Wellington Insurance Company in 1984 and took on progressive roles in claims, marketing, business development and business unit management. He was later appointed Regional Vice President, Southwestern Ontario, based in London in 1995.

During his tenure in London, Alan oversaw the business integration of the Wellington, Guardian, Zurich and Allianz insurance companies in Southwestern Ontario, growing revenues from $16 million to $225 million.

In July 2005, Alan accepted the position of Chief Operating Officer of the Atlantic Division, providing leadership for operations in Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick and Newfoundland. Based in Halifax, Alan has led the business integration of AXA Canada and Jevco in the region.

Mr. Blair holds an undergraduate degree in Political Science from University of Toronto and proceeded with Management Studies in the University of Michigan Executive Education Program.

Alan Blair , , , Senior Vice President, Atlantic Canada

Mr. Brehm is Senior Vice President of Intact’s North American specialty insurance business, including OneBeacon Insurance Group, its U.S-based specialty insurance company, and Intact Specialty Solutions, which focuses on the Canadian market. In this role, he is accountable for underwriting, pricing and product development strategy and execution for all specialty lines. He assumed this role upon Intact’s acquisition of OneBeacon in September 2017. He had previously served as OneBeacon’s Chief Actuary and Chief Risk Officer.

Mr. Brehm has nearly 35 years of experience in the property-casualty industry. He began his actuarial career at St. Paul Travelers, where he held roles of increasing responsibility, culminating in his appointment as Chief Actuary. After 22 years, he joined Guy Carpenter as a Managing Director. He joined OneBeacon in 2008 as Chief Actuary for the company’s specialty business, and was appointed Chief Risk Officer in 2010 and additionally assumed the Chief Actuary role in December 2015.

Mr. Brehm earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Minnesota and is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society.

Paul Brehm , , , Senior Vice President – Specialty Solutions

Sonya Côté was appointed Senior Vice President,Corporate Audit Services in November 2015. In this role, Ms Côté leads the development and the delivery of internal audit activity and also ensures that Intact is in accordance with the expected standards of corporate governance, compliance and ethics. Prior to her current appointment, Ms Côté was Vice-President Finance and Controller at Intact where she was responsible for the reporting and accounting operations of IFC and its P&C subsidiaries.

Prior to joining the company in 2011 as part of the AXA Canada acquisition, Ms Côté held various positions in finance at both AXA Canada and at a large Canadian bank. She started her career in a large audit firm, working closely with financial institutions.

Ms Côté brings over 20 years of expertise in reporting, financial planning, systems implementation, internal controls and operations.

Ms Côté holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Diploma in Public Accountancy from McGill University. She is a member of the Quebec Order of Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA).

Frédéric Cotnoir is Senior Vice-President, Corporate and Legal Services and Secretary of Intact since May 5, 2016. In this role Mr. Cotnoir is responsible for Intact’s legal, compliance and corporate secretarial functions. Prior to joining Intact, Mr. Cotnoir was a partner at McCarthy Tétrault, where he practised law in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and securities laws, corporate governance and the regulation of financial institutions. He was also a member of the Board of Partners.

Frédéric has a law degree from Sherbrooke University and Queen’s University and a Masters in Law and Accounting from the London School of Economics.

Frédéric Cotnoir , , , Senior Vice President, Corporate and Legal Services and Secretary

Debbie Coull-Cicchini was appointed Executive Vice President of Intact Insurance in January 2018. In this role, Ms. Coull-Cicchini overseas the operations of Intact Insurance in the Atlantic, Ontario and Western Canada. Prior to this role, Ms. Coull-Cicchini was COO and Senior Vice President for the Ontario Division. During this time Ms. Coull-Cicchini played an integral part in the integration of three successful acquisitions and led the implementation of numerous key strategic priorities.

Prior to joining IFC in 2005, Ms. Coull-Cicchini worked for a U.S. Bank as EVP Wealth Management, Retail Banking & Marketing, while residing in the U.S. Previous to this role, she was instrumental in launching two On-Line Banking start-ups which included President's Choice Financial in Canada and Amicus Bank in the U.S. She has held other various Retail Banking executive roles in Personal & Commercial Banking within CIBC.

Ms. Coull-Cicchini holds a BA in Economics from McMaster University in Hamilton and an MBA from Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.

Debbie Coull-Cicchini , , , Executive Vice President, Intact Insurance

Mr. Crosby is Senior Vice President of Intact’s North American specialty insurance business. In this role, he is accountable for operating results, service and distribution for all U.S. specialty lines and technology business throughout North America. He assumed this role upon Intact’s acquisition of OneBeacon in September 2017. He had previously served as Executive Vice President of OneBeacon, accountable for all of the company’s insurance operations.

Mr. Crosby has 37 years of experience in the property-casualty industry. He began his career at St. Paul Travelers, where spent 23 years in a variety of progressively senior roles within commercial middle-market, insurance operations and public entities business. He subsequently joined ACE Westchester, where he served as President and CEO and Chairman of ACE Commercial Risk Services, accountable for wholesale distribution of specialized property and casualty products within the excess and surplus lines marketplace. Mr. Crosby joined OneBeacon in July 2010 as President of Excess and Surplus Lines and was appointed Executive Vice President in November 2010.

Mr. Crosby earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Appalachian State University, and is deeply involved in the University’s Brantley Risk and Insurance Center, serving as an advisor, mentor and supporter.

Dennis Crosby , , , Senior Vice President – Specialty Solutions

Joe D’Annunzio was appointed Senior Vice President, BrokerLink in January 2018. In this role, he is responsible for accelerating Brokerlink's organic growth capability and further consolidating distribution across Canada.

Prior to this appointment, Mr. D’Annunzio was Senior Vice President, Specialty Solutions and Surety of Intact Insurance, where he led a new national department focused on growing its commercial lines specialty solutions business.

Mr. D’Annunzio has held a variety of roles across the business, including Regional Vice President of the Mississauga region, responsible for the performance of the Regional Operation and 160 brokers in all lines of the Property and Casualty business. During his term in Mississauga, Joe oversaw the business integration of the AXA and Jevco insurance companies in the Mississauga region, growing sales from $200 million to $530 million (DPW). Other roles included Regional Vice President of Ottawa and Northern Ontario region, Regional Vice President of Durham region and Vice President of Ontario Novex Personal Lines.

Joe joined Intact through the Zurich acquisition in 2002 where he was Vice President of National Sales at Zurich Canada. He has more than 30 years of industry experience including 10 years in the U.S., where he ran a brokerage as well as being Regional Manager for a major U.S. insurer.

Mr. D’Annunzio graduated with a Business Degree from Brock University and also studied Business Administration at University of California, Los Angeles.

Joe D’Annunzio , , , Senior Vice President, BrokerLink

Jean-François Desautels has been Senior Vice President of the Quebec Division of Intact Insurance since 2014. In 2018, Mr. Desautels was appointed to also oversee Intact's national digital operations.

Mr. Desautels began his career in the insurance industry as a broker. He later joined Royal & Sun Alliance (RSA) where he worked in various roles in business development, underwriting and operational management.

After joining Intact Insurance in 2003, he held a number of management positions in Business Development and Claims. In 2006, Mr. Desautels became Vice President of Personal Lines Underwriting for Quebec and Ontario at belairdirect.

More recently, Jean-François was a Regional Vice President with Intact Insurance, developing solid expertise in managing relations with the brokerage network. In addition to his operational planning and management duties, he played an active role in integrating the business of AXA Canada and Jevco into Intact’s operations in Quebec.

Mr. Desautels holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the École des sciences de la gestion, part of the Université du Québec à Montréal. He has also completed the Executive Development Course and the Advanced Management Course at the McGill Executive Institute.

He has recently become Chairman of the Board of the Insurance Bureau of Canada’s Quebec division. He is also on the Board of the Coalition pour la promotion des professions en assurance de dommages (Damage Insurance Coalition).

Jean-François Desautels , , , Senior Vice President, Quebec and Digital Distribution Intact Insurance

Monika Federau was appointed Senior Vice-President & Chief Strategy Officer at Intact Financial Corporation in December 2013. In this role, Ms Federau leads the development of the corporate strategy and oversees the execution of the annual strategic plan. She is also responsible for the company’s corporate social responsibility initiatives as well as internal and external communications including government and media relations.

She joined Intact in 2010 as Vice President, Marketing responsible for national advertising, communication and sponsorship strategies, as well as research and digital initiatives. Prior to Intact, Ms. Federau lived in Hong Kong working for a global life insurer where she was responsible for developing and executing strategies to enhance the company’s brand throughout China and Southeast Asia.

Monika began her career in the insurance industry in product development, sales and marketing. She has also held senior marketing and operations roles at software and e-commerce companies where she was responsible for customer acquisition and revenue generation in Canada, the US, and Australia. Ms Federau holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from York University and an MBA from the Smith School of Business, Queen’s University.

Monika serves on the Board of the Interactive Advertising Bureau of Canada, the Board of the Toronto Financial Services Alliance, and is a member of the UNICEF 25th Team.

Monika Federau , , , Senior Vice President, Chief Strategy Officer

Anne Fortin joined Intact in 2011 as Deputy Senior Vice President of Marketing, Direct Distribution, bringing to the company an extensive background in marketing, brand development, and digital experiences.

She subsequently became Senior Vice President of Marketing and Strategic Relationships (2013) and Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing (2016). In these roles, she was responsible for fostering the growth of belairdirect across the country, and also for Anthony Insurance in Newfoundland and Labrador.

In January 2018, Ms. Fortin was appointed Senior Vice President, Direct Distribution, Intact Financial Corporation. In this new position, she oversees all direct-to-consumer operations of Intact Financial Corporation in Canada, including those of belairdirect, Anthony Insurance and National Bank Insurance Auto and Home.

Prior to joining Intact, Ms. Fortin was Vice President and Managing Director of draftfcb, one of the world's largest networks of advertising and marketing communications agencies, heading their Montreal office. During her 18 years with the agency, she led marketing programs for clients in a wide range of fields including telecommunications, financial services and air transport.

Ms. Fortin holds an MBA from Concordia University and a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from the Université de Montréal.

Anne Fortin , , , Senior Vice President, Direct Distribution

Don Fox joined Intact Financial Corporation as Executive Vice President on January 1, 2017. He is responsible for overseeing IFC's Investment Management, Corporate Legal, Corporate Development, Audit and Finance functions.

Prior to joining the company, Don spent 29 years in the investment banking business, most recently as Vice Chair Global Investment Banking at CIBC. He was Head of the Financial Institutions Investment Banking Group at CIBC from 2000 to 2015. Prior to CIBC, Don held investment banking roles at Merrill Lynch, Midland Walwyn and Burns Fry. Before entering the investment banking business, Don worked as a financial officer for various junior oil and gas companies and practised as a public accountant with Arthur Andersen.

Don qualified as a Chartered Accountant in Alberta and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan.

Don Fox , , , Executive Vice President

Mr. Gagnon was appointed President of Intact Canadian operations in January 2018. In this role, Mr. Gagnon is responsible for all Canadian based business entities (Intact Insurance, belairdirect, Anthony Insurance and BrokerLink), in addition to overseeing Personal Lines, Commercial Lines and Marketing functions.

From 2013 to 2017, Mr. Gagnon was President, Service & Distribution, where he oversaw the development and expansion of belairdirect, BrokerLink, international initiatives and ventures as well as Intact’s Claims operations. Prior to that, Mr. Gagnon served as President and Chief Operating Officer from to 2011 to 2013 and President of Intact Insurance from 2008 to 2011. He joined Intact Insurance as Senior Vice-President Quebec division in January 2007.Mr Gagnon started his career in the banking industry before becoming an insurance broker in 1992. Prior of joining Intact (ING), he headed a successful brokerage with offices in Quebec and Ontario and was active within the provincial and national brokers associations. Mr Gagnon is past President of the Regroupement des Cabinets de Courtage du Quebec (RCCAQ) and Director of the Insurance Brokers Association of Canada (IBAC).

Mr Gagnon earned a BA in Economic Science from the Universite de Montreal and a MBA from the University of Ottawa.

Louis Gagnon , , , President, Canadian Operations

Darren Godfrey was appointed Senior Vice President, Personal Lines of Intact Insurance in May 2016. In this role, he is responsible for the evolution of Intact Insurance’s personal lines strategies and for increasing its competitive advantages in underwriting, pricing and product development.

Prior to this appointment, Mr. Godfrey was appointed Regional Vice President in Calgary in January 2015, responsible for growing Intact Insurance’s business in Alberta via its network of independent brokers while implementing its personal and commercial lines strategies. In addition to enhancing the company’s competitive advantages, Mr. Godfrey was responsible for the underwriting and operations teams in Calgary.

For two years prior Mr. Godfrey was the Deputy Senior Vice President of Claims for the West Division, responsible for Intact Insurance's claims functions in Alberta, British Columbia and Manitoba, and a member of the national claims management team. He has also held other Vice President roles in claims, personal lines underwriting and actuarial services since joining the organisation in 2001.

Mr. Godfrey obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Melbourne (Australia) in 1989 and a Graduate Diploma in Actuarial Studies from Macquarie University (Australia) in 1991. Since 1999, Mr. Godfrey is also a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia.

Darren Godfrey , , , Senior Vice President, Personal Lines

Karim Hirji was appointed Senior Vice President, International & Ventures in October 2015. In this role, Mr. Hirji is responsible for IFC's international expansion efforts, as well as deploying capital to expand IFC’s core competencies and invest in new ventures. As part of his mandate, Mr. Hirji has been leading the advancement of products and partnerships within the sharing economy.

Mr. Hirji joined the company in 2001 in Vancouver where he worked in both personal lines and commercial lines underwriting management. In 2005, he moved to Toronto and assumed leadership roles in corporate commercial lines, finance and most recently in distribution as Regional Vice-President for Intact Insurance.

Mr. Hirji has an Executive MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance (Honours) from the University of British Columbia and is a Chartered Insurance Professional.

Karim Hirji , , , Senior Vice President, International & Ventures

Mathieu Lamy was appointed EVP and Chief Operating Officer for IFC in January 2018. Mr. Lamy oversees Claims, Technology, our Labs, and our Venture business in addition to our People operations across all North American businesses.

In 2016, Mr. Lamy was appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer responsible for Information Technology and Intact Lab Team. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Lamy was appointed Senior Vice President Claims when he joined Intact in 2011 responsible for the overall claims operations across the country.

Prior to joining Intact, Mr. Lamy led AXA Canada’s property and casualty insurance operations in Ontario and the Atlantic Provinces as Executive Vice President for 10 years. He started his career as an Actuary in 1984 and over the years held several roles in actuarial and personal lines underwriting.

Mr. Lamy is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and the Canadian Institute of Actuaries. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science from Laval University.

Mathieu Lamy , , , Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Lessard was appointed to the role of Senior Vice President, Commercial Lines, in September 2011. In this role, he is responsible for developing and delivering Intact Insurance's strategy for commercial lines underwriting, pricing and product development.

Prior to this appointment, Mr. Lessard served as Executive Vice President, Property/Casualty Insurance at AXA Canada. As such, he oversaw all of AXA’s property and casualty insurance teams and operations in Quebec.

Mr. Lessard began his career in 1982 at La Prévoyance, compagnie d’assurance, which later became Boréal Assurances and was acquired by AXA in 1994. Initially responsible for the home sector and then the automobile sector in the Actuarial Services Department, he was subsequently appointed the department head and, in 1988, Manager, Actuarial Services – Corporate. Between 1991 and 1999, he occupied various roles as a vice president before being appointed Senior Vice President, Actuarial Services and Reinsurance, in 2000. From 2008 to 2010, Mr. Lessard was the Chief Risk Officer at AXA France.

Mr. Lessard holds a bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science from Laval University and is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and the Canadian Institute of Actuaries.

Alain Lessard , , , Senior Vice President, Commercial Lines

Louis Marcotte was appointed as Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer in December 2013. In his previous role, Mr. Marcotte was the Senior Vice President of Strategic Distribution, which saw him overseeing Intact’s investments in the broker network and the development of financial solutions for the company’s brokers and partners. Prior that, Mr. Marcotte was Treasurer of Intact Financial Corporation responsible for Investor Relations, Financial Planning and Treasury.

Mr. Marcotte has more than 25 years of progressive international experience in financial management with expertise in mergers and acquisitions, financing, system implementation, public reporting and tax planning.

He is a graduate of McGill University, a Fellow of the Quebec Order of CPA’s and serves as President and Chairman of the Quebec Chapter of Financial Executive International Canada.

Louis Marcotte , , , Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Lucie Martel became Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer of Intact Financial Corporation in September 2011. In her current role, she is responsible for Intact's human resource strategies, policies and programs. Prior to this appointment, Ms. Martel was a Senior Vice President at AXA Canada. She has more than 30 years’ experience in strategic management of human resources and labour relations, with corporations including Laurentian Bank (where she was Vice President, Human Resources Management and Development), Direct Film and Uniroyal.

Ms. Martel has a degree in Industrial Relations from Université de Montréal. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Société des alcools du Québec and chairs the human resources committee.

Mr. Miller is President of Intact’s North American specialty insurance business, including OneBeacon Insurance Group, its U.S-based specialty insurance company, and Intact Specialty Solutions, which focuses on the Canadian market. He assumed this role upon Intact’s acquisition of OneBeacon in [September] 2017. He had previously served as OneBeacon’s President and CEO since 2005.

Mr. Miller has over 35 years of experience in the property-casualty industry. He began his career in underwriting at Chubb in 1981, where he held roles of increasing responsibility. After 14 years, he joined the St. Paul Travelers, where he ultimately served as co-chief operating officer overseeing the company’s specialty business and field operations. Over his ten years with the company, he held senior leadership positions in various specialty businesses and managed operations in the U.S., Canada and Europe. He joined OneBeacon in April 2005 as its Chief Operating Officer, and was appointed President and CEO in July 2005.

Mr. Miller earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Allegheny College. He is a past Chairman and current member of both the American Insurance Association Board of Directors and the Insurance Information Institute Board of Directors, and a member of the P&C CEO Roundtable. Mr. Miller is also a past director of the Insurance Federation of Minnesota and the Science Museum of Minnesota, as well as the United Way of Massachusetts.

T. Michael Miller , , , President – U.S. and Specialty Solutions

Benoit Morissette was appointed Group Chief Actuary at Intact Financial Corporation on January 1, 2018. In this role Mr. Morissette plays a key role in managing the insurance risk of the group by overseeing its corporate actuarial and reinsurance operations.

Mr. Morissette joined Intact in 2001 as Vice President Actuarial. After a number of progressive assignments, in 2010 he took the role of Deputy Senior Vice President responsible for pricing and underwriting for the Direct to Consumer Distribution channel. In February 2013, Mr. Morissette was appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Internal Auditor, where he led the development and implementation of Intact’s internal audit activities and ensured that Intact is in accordance with the expected standards of corporate governance, compliance and ethics. On January 2016, he was appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Risk Officer where he was responsible to provide risk management leadership to the organization at the corporate strategic and business management level.

Throughout his career, Mr. Morissette served on various committees of the Insurance Bureau of Canada, the Financial Services Commission of Ontario and the Canadian Association of Direct Relationship Insurers.

Mr. Morissette holds a Bachelor of Actuarial Sciences from Laval University and he is a fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and the Canadian Institute of Actuaries as well as a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.

Benoit Morissette , , , Senior Vice President and Group Chief Actuary

Jennie Moushos has been leading the activities of Intact Insurance in Western Canada since February 2012. Prior to joining Intact in the Fall of 2011 as Deputy Senior Vice President, Western Canada, Ms. Moushos was the Executive Vice President of AXA Pacific Insurance Company, a position that she held since 2003. In that role she assumed the responsibility for all business operations of AXA Canada in Western Canada, the Yukon and the Northwest Territories. Ms. Moushos joined AXA Canada in 1995 where she served in various senior roles following five years in the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions. Ms. Moushos is a Certified Management Accountant and a Chartered Accountant. She has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Concordia University and a Diploma in Public Accountancy from McGill University.

Ms. Moushos was a co-founder of the Women in Insurance Cancer Crusade, BC Chapter and Co-Chair of the WICC BC Steering Committee from 2004 to 2006. She was also a member of an industry task force promoting the development of an Insurance and Risk Management Program at the BC Institute of Technology.

Appointed to his current position in 2014, Mr. Muehlemann oversees Intact Financial Corporation invested assets as well as those of its affiliates, assorted mutual funds and selected special purpose portfolios for institutional investors. In his role, he is responsible for the development and implementation of value-added investment strategies and portfolio management techniques for $15 billion in assets.

M. Muehlemann joined Intact in 1999 and has supervised the equity portfolio management team for nearly ten years. Over the years he managed several equity mandates and implemented value added investment strategies. He has also supervised the operations of Intact Investment Management.

Mr. Muehlemann earned his Master in Finance from the University of Sherbrooke and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. He also serves as Chairman of the Board of the Canadian Colorectal Cancer Association.

Carla Smith was appointed Senior Vice President, Corporate Development in May 2017. In this role, Ms Smith is responsible for all the mergers and acquisitions activities within the company.

Prior to this appointment, Ms Smith has held roles such as Deputy Senior Vice President, Claims Ontario, responsible for Intact Financial Corporation’s claims operations throughout Ontario, and Deputy Senior Vice President of Sales & Operations for belairdirect nationally.

Ms. Smith’s career with Intact began in Vancouver in 1999. Since then she has held a broad range of roles across the organization within Intact Insurance and belairdirect. She has also had a leading role on several key strategic initiatives including the integration of Grey Power as well as the acquisition and integration of Canadian Direct Insurance.

Ms Smith is a Chartered Insurance Professional and holds a Global Professional Master of Laws from the University of Toronto, a Master of Business Administration from Queen’s University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance) from Simon Fraser University.

Richard Taschereau was appointed Senior Vice President of Marketing with responsibility for all the company’s Canadian brands in January 2018. In this role, Mr. Taschereau will continue to build the Intact and belairdirect consumer brands in all markets where they do business. He will also work to accelerate the growth and uptake of our digital strategies with our customers and Canadian consumers at large.

Mr. Taschereau has a thorough knowledge of our different distribution channels, having previously served as Deputy Senior Vice President, Marketing, Communications and Business Development, with belairdirect, and Vice President, Marketing and Strategic Distribution, Intact Insurance – Quebec.

Before joining Intact through the AXA Canada acquisition, Richard was Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Axa Assurances in Quebec, and had been a strategic consultant in the financial area and held various management positions in insurance marketing.

Mr. Taschereau has more than 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, including some 20 years in marketing, sales, communications and distribution. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Relations from Laval University and an M.B.A. from the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM).

Mark Tullis is Vice Chair, Intact Financial Corporation. Mr. Tullis assists the CEO with M&A strategy and talent management, and is a member of a number of management committees, including IFC’s Risk Committee and Operational Investment Committee. He is Chairman of Intact Investment Management, and helps with Board communication. Previously, Mr. Tullis was IFC’s Executive Vice President, Governance and Capital Management.

Prior to joining IFC in January 2006, Mr. Tullis was President of Institutional Businesses of ING Americas. Mr. Tullis was Executive Vice-President and Chief Actuary with Primerica, a subsidiary of Citigroup, from 1994 to 1999.

Mr. Tullis holds a Bachelor of Mathematical Sciences degree and brings many years of experience in senior positions within the insurance industry. Mr. Tullis served as a director of the Company’s federal P&C insurance subsidiaries from 2000 to the beginning of 2006.

Mr. Weightman is Senior Vice President, Specialty Solutions & Surety, where he is responsible for the growth, profitability and talent management for the Canadian speciality business. Since joining the organization more than 30 years ago, he has held a number of leadership positions in both Canada and the United States. Prior to his current appointment, he was President of BrokerLink, where he led the growth and expansion of the organization into one of Canada’s leading insurance brokerages.

Prior positions include Senior Vice President, Claims, where he was responsible for delivering an industry leading claims experience to IFC customers, and Senior Vice President, Commercial Lines, where he was responsible for the commercial lines strategy including underwriting, pricing, and product development.

Mr. Weightman earned a BSc in Business Administration and an MSc in Business Education from Illinois State University. He holds a number of industry and professional designations including CPCU, CLU, ChFC, FLMI, AU and AIM. He completed the Advanced Executive Program at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management in 2006.
