TORONTO, Feb. 22, 2016 /CNW/ - Intact Insurance and belairdirect customers can now enjoy a new simpler, faster and more convenient auto claims experience with the launch of Intact Service Centres in urban areas across Canada. The first Intact Service Centre opens in Calgary today, with three more centres set to open in Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal.
"We are making things easier for customers after an automobile accident," said Mike Van Elsberg, Deputy Senior Vice-President of Claims, Western Division, Intact Insurance. "By using Intact Service Centres, eligible customers will be able to simply drop off their drivable and repairable car and we'll take care of everything else with our trusted service providers. This process is simpler, more efficient and could save customers time. Customers will drive their repaired cars sooner."
Once at the Service Centre, a customer will be able to drop off their damaged vehicle and leave in a rental vehicle, while Intact Insurance or belairdirect makes arrangements to get the vehicle appraised, repaired and cleaned. Once the vehicle is fixed, the customer picks it up and returns the rental vehicle. There is no need to wait for a repair date, go to a repair shop, or arrange a rental car.
