The agreement with the FCMQ, for a term of five years, is consistent with Intact's long-term vision to support the brokerage network through strong and mutually rewarding strategic alliances, while highlighting the added value of the advisory service brokers provide.
The agreement will see Intact managing the insurance portfolio of the Federation and its 201 affiliated clubs, as well as the civil liability insurance offered with access fees to marked trails to its 80,000 individual members. It consolidates the company's leadership position in recreational vehicle insurance and will serve as a powerful business development catalyst for brokers.
Brokers, the experts on insurance in their communities, will be provided with additional tools to meet their customers' needs, including exclusive, enhanced offers for snowmobilers who belong to the FCMQ.
As an insurer with a natural interest in prevention and public safety, Intact wants to get directly involved, maintaining a strong presence with snowmobiling enthusiasts and working with the FCMQ on topics such as promoting safe sledding.
