ING Insurance to donate $10,000 to the Peterborough Flood Relief Concert

Date August 3, 2004
ING responded as an insurance company to take care of claims and help people get back to normal. So far, over 300 claims have been made, with a total of $7.5 million paid out. But, after witnessing the devastation, we wanted to do more to help the community as a whole, says Joe D'Annunzio, Regional Vice President of ING Insurance. When we heard about the Ronnie Hawkins concert, we jumped at the opportunity.

All money raised from the concert will go directly to those most in need. And that was important to us, says Joe. It's one thing to be proud of the way we've settled claims, but we're also proud to give a little bit extra to people who really need it.

Donations can be made through the Kawartha Credit Union, 1054 Monaghan Road, Peterborough, ON, K9J 5L3 Account Number 1016062.
